We're thrilled to share great news - SENSADUST has been chosen by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board among other manufacturers for the evaluation of air quality in Mumbai. SENSADUST, a low-cost PM (2.5) and PM (10) sensor, has already been installed at 10 Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations by January 5th, 2024.
We've also supplied over 700 devices for PROJECT AMRIT, India's first and largest rural air quality monitoring network. Additionally, more than 10 devices have been installed for air pollution evaluation with the Surat Municipal Corporation.
Our devices are making an impact in the construction industry and with Ready Mix Concrete Manufacturers in Mumbai. Unfortunately, last year witnessed the loss of over 30,000 lives in Mumbai alone due to air pollution.
As of January 4th, 2024, The Times Of India reported that the BMC has served notices to 2,955 construction sites in Mumbai for violating pollution guidelines. Show-cause notices have been issued to 603 sites, and work has been stopped at 868 sites.
